Job Title : Accounts Intern

Stipend : ?5,000 - ?8,000 per month

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team for a 6-month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for students or fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounting, finance, and bookkeeping processes in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily accounting tasks such as recording transactions, updating financial records, and maintaining general ledgers.
• Help with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Support the finance team in preparing invoices, handling expenses, and verifying financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
• Handle data entry and management of financial records in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Excel).
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and help ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Provide support during audits and help with documentation.
• Perform any other accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.
