Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.Record and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statementsPerform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of balances.Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Provide insights and explanations for variances in financial performance.Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support decision-makingPrepare documentation and support for internal and external audits.Respond to auditor inquiries and ensure compliance with audit requirements.Find opportunities for process improvements within the R2R process.Implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and ensure compliance.Implement and supervise internal controls within the R2R process.Experience/Skills Required:Bachelors, or equivalent, in Accounting, CPA/CA preferred5+ years of overall combined accounting experience, technology industry and Big 4 experience a plusExperience in SOX control documentation / executionMust be a self-starter, team player, and able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentIntermediate/Advanced Excel skillsStrong organizational and verbal / written communication skillsDemonstrated critical thinking capabilityStrong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a mustAbility to identify and drive process improvementAbility to organize and prioritize responsibilities optimally in order to meet deadlinesExperience/Skills Desired:Financial analysis and reportingOracle Financials or other ERP systems experienceHyperion systems \xe2\x80\x93 Smartview experience a plusData analytics and/or Tableau experienceAccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this .Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
