Job Title: Accountant - Eye Care Domain Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, analyzing financial data, and preparing reports to aid in making strategic financial decisions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses. Report the organization\xe2\x80\x99s finances to management, and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. Qualifications: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or related field; a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is preferred. 4 TO 5 experience as an accountant, preferably in the healthcare or eye care industry. Strong understanding of accounting theory and practice. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Sharp time management skills. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data. Skills: Proficiency in financial software and MS Office. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office. Understanding of data privacy standards. Solid communication skills, both written and verbal. Deep understanding of business and financial principles. Work Environment: The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, so it is important that the Accountant maintains a level of professionalism and is able to multitask effectively.
