About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong accounting background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Xero and the flexibility to work during Australian business hours, split across morning and noon shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Xero
Perform reconciliations, journal entries and month-end closing activities
Prepare financial reports and support data analysis efforts
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting with strong knowledge of Xero
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Availability to work during Australian business hours
Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel
Strong skills in data analysis and reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the building and construction industry.
