Job Title: Accountant (GST and Tally Specialist) Location: Varanasi, India : We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a specialization in GST (Goods and Services Tax) and expertise in Tally software to join our team in Varanasi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Tally software. 2. Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns and adherence to GST guidelines. 3. Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. 4. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. 5. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. 6. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. 7. Provide support during internal and external audits. 8. Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations, and implement necessary adjustments. 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations. 10. Prepare and submit various financial reports as required by management. Requirements: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on GST compliance and Tally software. 3. Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations. 4. Proficiency in Tally ERP software and MS Excel. 5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. 9. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving accounting issues. 10. Professional certification such as CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent is preferred but not required.
