Job Summary

:

We are looking for an experienced and trustworthy

Accountant

to manage the financial operations of our

jewellery retail showroom

. The candidate should be well-versed in retail accounting, particularly in the

jewellery sector

, with a strong understanding of inventory management, taxation (especially related to gold and precious stones), and daily financial reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

:

Maintain accurate day-to-day accounts including

sales, purchases, credit notes, debit notes

, and

stock movements

. Handle

daily billing, customer invoicing, and cash/credit card/UPI reconciliations

. Monitor

daily cash flow, banking transactions

, and showroom

petty cash

. Manage

inventory valuation

, including

gold, diamond, silver, and other jewellery items

based on purity, weight, and making charges. Coordinate with the showroom staff to ensure accurate

stock in/out records

using barcode or RFID systems. Prepare and file

GST returns

,

TDS

, and other statutory tax filings in a timely manner. Maintain ledger accounts of

customers, suppliers, karigars (artisans), and goldsmiths

. Support

annual audits

and ensure adherence to accounting and tax compliance norms. Handle

purchase and sales reconciliation

between showroom and suppliers. Manage

gold schemes

, installment plans, and track customer payments. Assist with

payroll processing

, staff advances, and statutory deductions (PF/ESI where applicable). Prepare

MIS reports

, financial summaries, and assist with

budget planning

.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
