Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in managing cheques, ledgers, and using accounting software. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our startup by maintaining accurate financial records, performing regular financial audits, and providing strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

- Process cheques, and manage all financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all entries are accurate and comply with accounting principles.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

- Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost management activities.

- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for various projects.

- Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 4 to 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a retail or startup environment.

- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Xero, Zoho, SAP, or similar).

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ?240,000.00 - ?360,000.00 per year
