We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as an Account and Front Office Employee. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in using accounting software like Tally, and experience with GST filings and bank reconciliations. Additionally, excellent knowledge of MS Office applications is required. This role requires multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and a customer service mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain up-to-date accounting ledgers and databases.
- Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Utilize MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Provide support in front office duties, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and organizing office documents.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve any accounting or administrative issues.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting and front office operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting and front office functions within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Tally, and a good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with GST filings and bank reconciliations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service-oriented mindset and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
