About the Company:

Leading provider of transportation solutions, known for our commitment to efficiency and reliability. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Manage accounts payable, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Handle accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

General Ledger Maintenance:

• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate and timely entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Tax Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and tax purposes.

Internal Controls:

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures.

Audit Support:

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?25,000.00 per month
