Job Title: Accountant (Female)

Location: A. Senthilkumar & Co, Kolathur, Chennai

We are looking to hire female employees to join our accounts department. The ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime) and advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for the school, including but not limited to invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Process and record all accounting transactions in Tally Prime software.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Verification of payroll for the school staff.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Monitor and manage school expenses.
• Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation for auditing purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Female candidates only.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a school or educational institution is a plus.
• Knowledge of tax-related regulations of the schools.
