: As an Accountant at our branch office in Chennai, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. From bookkeeping to financial statement preparation, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Vendor Management: Code vendor bills, process vendor payments using automated approval systems, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Customer Invoicing: Generate and manage customer invoices.
• Receipt Processing: Handle and process receipts accurately.
• Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations: Reconcile bank deposits with POS, manage bank reconciliations, and handle credit card reconciliations.
• Tax Compliance: Handle sales tax/occupancy tax payments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management if necessary.
• Controller Services: Assist in preparing monthly adjusting and closing entries, handling prepaid and accruals, prepare financial statements, review financial data, and assist with budget preparation.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct weekly cash flow projections and perform variance analysis.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office and Tally ERP 9.

Requirements:

• B Com.
• Experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and tax payments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tally Accounting software.
