Position: AccountantLocation: SI Surgical Medical Equipment Shopping Mall , Fulbari, SiliguriCompany: SI Surgical Pvt LtdAbout the Role:SI Surgical Medical Equipment Shopping Mall is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Fulbari, Siliguri. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage store inventory and dispatch planning efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
- Basic Knowledge of Accounts:
- Proficient understanding of accounting principles, especially the "Golden Rules" of accounting.
- Payment Terms Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to payment terms as per purchase orders.
- Sales Invoice Generation:
- Create sales invoices using GST knowledge.
- In-House Billing:
- Handle billing for walk-in customers in the mall.
- Report Presentation:
- Prepare and present various financial reports.
- Daily Sales Reporting:
- Compile and present daily sales, collection, and dues reports segmented by sales personnel.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform all other accountant-related tasks required in a regional office setting.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits.
- Support management with financial planning and analysis.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in GST and sales invoicing.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales teams.
- SAP knowledge
