Position: Accountant A fast-growing USA-based civil engineering consulting firm specializing in [Transportation, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors], is expanding its team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as an Accountant. This role offers an excellent compensation package and the opportunity to work remotely from India. : We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant educated in a Convent/English medium school to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment and must be good with MS Word and MS Excel. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role includes preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The key Responsibilities for this position are:

- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Provide support for tax preparation and filing.
- Must be Convent/English medium educated.
- Master\'s degree in commerce (M.Com).
- Must have 5+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Must be proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
- High-speed internet connection to facilitate efficient remote work.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
