Adreso is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant in Panaji to manage various financial tasks, including GST tax compliance, BIS certifications, banking transactions, accounts receivable and payable, import & export processes, and correspondence management. Apply now!
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance and Articleship experience.
- Ability to prepare and file GST returns in compliance with the latest tax regulations.
- Ability to ensure timely and accurate submission of GST-related documents and maintain and reconcile GST accounts.
- Ability to handle all aspects of BIS certification processes and ensure compliance with BIS standards and regulations, including liaising with regulatory bodies and auditors.
- Experience in managing daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers, and reconciling bank statements with internal records.
- Ability to handle bank-related queries and issues promptly.
- Knowledge of managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations, and following up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely payments.
- Knowledge of maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Ability to process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations, and ensure timely and accurate payment of bills.
- Knowledge of maintaining vendor relationships and handling any payment-related inquiries.
- Prior experience overseeing financial aspects of import and export transactions, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and documentation, and coordinating with logistics and shipping departments.
- Knowledge of handling all financial correspondence, including emails, letters, and official communications, and maintaining organized records of all correspondence.
- Ability to coordinate with banks to resolve financial queries and issues, and liaise with Chartered Accountants to address and resolve accounting and compliance-related queries.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
