Position Overview: As an Accountant at Natraj Graphics , you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will play a critical role in supporting the financial health of our organization through accurate record-keeping and insightful analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Budget Management:
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
• Provide recommendations based on budget performance and financial insights.
• Compliance and Auditing:
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Tax Preparation:
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Support tax planning and strategy initiatives.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
• Monitor cash flow and oversee invoicing and collections.
• Financial Analysis and Improvement:
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role. Proficiency in accounting software ( QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
