Job Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in banking operations, specifically in RTGS and NEFT payments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and facilitating smooth banking operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage and process RTGS and NEFT payments efficiently, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements, accounts, and financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions and processes.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as finance, procurement, and operations, to support overall financial management and decision-making.
Key Skills: Skills Set:
  • Experience 4-5 years of accounting experience, with specific experience in banking operations and RTGS, NEFT payments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
