Purpose of the role: You will be working with Senior Accountant Reporting and acting as a member of the Finance team. Finance team manages the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable and receivable and group audit requirement.

• Post journal entries for accrued expenses, depreciation, amortization and other month end closing entries
• AR / AP posting, Updating financial statements
• Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledger.
• Prepare local compliance reports as per requirement.
• Customer / Vendor / Bank reconciliation
• Assist in completing audits extractions.
• Generate reports of financial information
• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L accounts reconciliation, consolidation, analysis.
• Assist to prepare and consolidate budget and forecast analysis reports.
• Assist to prepare the statement of cash flows at the end of each accounting period & Intercompany reconciliation.
• System management: Maintenance of accounting system to make sure compliance with company polices and accounting standards.
• Support the Senior Accountant in review & update,
• Periodically review Data Protection regulations to ensure compliance across the organization

Skills, knowledge, experience, and exposure

• 2 years of relevant experience in reporting
• Should be graduate in Business / Accounting / Commerce degree, with majors in accounting or finance desirable
• Prior experience in consolidated reporting or in a MNC company with intercompany transactions
• Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel
• Quickly understands business issues, data challenges and reporting/workforce analytical needs.
• Experience in managing high volume workload in a changing environment

Role Requirements

• Hybrid in Malad Mumbai
• Whilst the contracted hours for the role are 9AM to 6PM IST, Mon-Fri, the global nature of the business might require that some meetings and engagements will happen outside of these hours.
