Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, demonstrating proficiency in using Tally and Zoho accounting software. The role involves managing payroll, handling petty cash, overseeing vendor relationships, managing assets, and generating various financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Software Proficiency

• Utilize Tally and Zoho for maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded systematically and accurately

Payroll Management

• Process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle all aspects of payroll administration including salary calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Petty Cash Handling

• Manage petty cash fund and ensure proper documentation of all disbursements.
• Conduct regular reconciliations and audits of petty cash transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of petty cash balances and expenditures.

Vendor Management

• Oversee and manage relationships with vendors.
• Handle vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Negotiate payment terms and manage vendor contracts.

Asset Management

• Track and manage company assets, including equipment and inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Conduct periodic physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies.

Report Generation

• Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Generate custom reports as needed to support business operations and decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for audits and compliance purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally and Zoho accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Experience in handling petty cash and vendor management.
• Familiarity with asset management principles and practices.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
