Job Title: Accountant

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance department (Shiksha Trust). The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in FI (Finance) and possess a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Roles and Responsibilities:• Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.



Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in FI (Finance) or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
