An accountant's job description:
1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements.
3. Tax Preparation: Calculate and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
3. Budgeting and : Assist in creating and managing budgets.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections, ensuring proper recording of financial transactions.
5. Payroll Processing: Manage employee payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits, while ensuring timely payments.
6. Liaison: Work with auditors, tax professionals, and other financial institutions to ensure accurate financial management and reporting including esi and pf management.
