Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role is essential in supporting the financial health of our business and ensuring that our financial operations are accurate, timely, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by posting and verifying account entries.

Reconcile accounts, ledgers, and balance sheets to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process and manage invoices, payments, and expense reports.

Follow up on pending invoices, resolve payment issues, and ensure timely collection from clients.

Tax Compliance and Filing:

Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with Indian tax regulations.

Assist in preparation of annual income tax returns and support internal and external audits.

Payroll Management:

Assist in payroll processing, including calculation of employee salaries, deductions, and bonuses.

Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes and other statutory dues.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Audit Support:

Coordinate with auditors to ensure smooth completion of audits and timely submission of required documents.

Address any audit findings and make necessary improvements in internal controls and procedures.

Inventory and Asset Management:

Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory and fixed assets.

Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist with asset tagging and verification.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure all financial and accounting practices comply with company policies and statutory requirements.

Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for audit and review purposes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. CA Inter/CMA Inter preferred.

Experience: 0-5 years of experience in accounting.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
