We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant specializing in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Income Tax to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- GST Management:
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
- Ensure compliance with all GST regulations and timely payment of taxes.
- Conduct regular GST reconciliations and audits.
- Handle GST registration, amendments, and cancellations.
- Manage input tax credit (ITC) and ensure accurate claims.
- Income Tax Management:
- Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Ensure compliance with all income tax regulations and timely payment of taxes.
- Handle income tax assessments and audits.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax liabilities.
- Manage tax notices, appeals, and litigation.
- Compliance and Advisory:
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on tax-related matters to internal teams and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines.
- Liaise with tax authorities and handle queries and inspections.
