We are extremely proud on our ability to work together and across the other functions in the organization. As a team we enjoy spending time together and respecting the other team members both inside and outside of the office!The current role critical as it enables the Corporate finance team to compliment the growth of Zuora by providing critical finance support to the business and managing the financial operations. The candidate will have an important role to play in closure of books of accounts and preparation of financials at India level which would go a long way for a smooth consolidation and timely reporting of numbers by Zuora Inc. to the Wall Street. This role will provide a wonderful career building opportunity because unlike other specialized finance roles, this position will allow the candidate to get broader exposure in all areas of finance and accounts.The position will be based out of Chennai and is a hybrid position. So, you will work both remotely and in the office. Of course, you're welcome to come into the office more often if you stay close to the office.What You'll doAs part of this team the selected candidate will communicate and interact freely with team members and leadership group to resolve queries in key areas that they operate in and achieve positive deliverables for Zuora India. The key areas of operation and deliverables will be:

• Employee Travel & Expense (T&E) Management:

• Handle and Process T&E Reimbursements.
• Maintaining staff payment tracking sheet and updating it regularly.

• Accounts Payables:

• Managing Accounts payables process.
• Timely reconciliations of vendor balances.

• Treasury:

• Initiation and recording of banking transactions.
• Treasury management / Cashflow preparation.

• Book close and Reporting:

• Provide support on monthly closing and year-end closing processes.
• Timely Preparation of Monthly MIS Reports.

• Audit and Tax compliance:

• Providing support in statutory and tax audits.
• Handling statutory compliance and ensure tax compliances. (e.g. TDS / GST, Income Tax, SEZ, etc.).

What You will needCurrently, we are looking for candidates who have good communication skills along with the below must-haves:

• CA Inter/Bachelor's/Master's degree - In the field of Commerce/Finance/General Administration.
• Minimum 2 -4+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience of working with Tally.

It would be a plus if the you have working knowledge on the below:

• Netsuite - Accounting ERP
• Coupa - Procurement Management Tool
• Navan - Travel & Expense Management Tool
