Job Purpose:
Effectively efficiently executes financial accounting and control activities associated with Trans India Logistics (TIL). Assists in the development and implementation of improvement initiatives designed to promote excellence and consistency within accounting. Recommends accounting procedures and controls to ensure ongoing adherence to accounting policies and relevant governing agreements. Provide mentoring and leadership to accounting personnel reporting to the position.

Key Result Areas:
For Trans India Logistics Head Office, and support other TIL branch
Develops accounting processes and procedures and implements effectively
Resolves accounting discrepancies with suppliers, customers and branches
Financial report preparation and financial statements to Management
ITR and Coordination with CA for accurate and timely submission
Supervision on GST Data Preparation and legal requirements of State and Central
Bank Reconciliation statements
Preparing and Monitoring Budgets
Financial Analysis
Monthly payments and receivables
Bank statements
Tax compliance
Tracks, verifies and monitors processing and payment of invoices. Tracks expenditures and bills-out charges to suppliers and customers in accordance with governing agreements. Produces informative and well documented reconciliations of all assigned accounts.
Develops monthly accruals of work done. Maintains documentation to support all accruals. Responds to queries on accrual related matters.
Prepares cash calls/forecasts; o ensure timely and accurate submission of projected funding requirements.
Assists with internal assessments of project controls and identifies related control gaps. Assists in development of action plans and verifies corrective action to ensure effective closure of control gaps. Maintains files and appropriate audit trails/documentation to support accounting activity; responds to internal and external audit queries within assigned area.
Maintain physical inventory records and conducts periodic verifications of Company owned property at all locations.
Perform other duties as required by the Management.
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries:
Supports work with all teams on issues relating to accounting aspects of Trans India Logistics.
Supports Finance Manager on issues related to financial reporting, accounting and internal controls.
Works within established and defined policies and procedures.
Works in an environment that has tight deadlines, high pressure and visibility, which requires accuracy, high initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
