• Month/Year End close activities
• Coordinate and liaise with Line of Business/Affiliates,
• Always Ensuring meeting SLA terms and Conditions
• Ensure all reports are collated and sent across on time.
• Ensure compliance with policies and practices.

Roles and responsibilities will be combination of below.General ledger

• Assist the accounting department in daily bookkeeping activities
• Ensure monthly/quarterly/ yearly financial close is performed in good quality considering internal rules and the policies of the organization.
• Correct and timely posting of the accruals and journals to record the cost in the books.
• Provide necessary financial information to controllers and LOBs based on the request received.
• Perform financial analysis and support in operational metrics tracking.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Ensure the delivery of reliable and timely information to the LOB.

Asset Management

• Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in the accounting system.
• Record project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
• Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
• Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
• Coordinating with external/internal auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

VAT Recording and Reporting

• VAT Accounting, reconciliations and returns for both HQ and for the overseas registrations.
• Daily review and analysis of Sales and purchase invoice to check if the tax determination is done correctly.
• Timely reporting of various tax returns and tax payments
• Work closely with internal stakeholder and the tax authorities.

ESG Reporting

• Reporting on social governance.

Master data management

• Creation and maintenance of Chart of accounts and Cost center / profit center based on the org. needs.
• Periodical review and closing unused CC and GL in agreement with Line of Business.

Projects

• Actively contribute towards strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are completed with good quality within the time stipulated against each of them.

Ensure all mails on shared mailboxes and all other queries are answered within the time stipulated under the SLA or as agreed within the departmentPotentially relevant experience:Essential (Must have)Degree in Accounting/Finance or strong knowledge of accounting * Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & Word

• Preferably SAP or any other ERP application

Desirable (Good to have)

• Holding valid passport, US visa will be an added advantage.
• Analysis for Office / Power BI / Visio / Macro / Knime / RPA Tools

• 3 - 5 years of work experience in the respective domain or in a related financial domain and good knowledge of accounting fundamentals

• Working knowledge preferably in SAP or any another ERP environment
