Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining general ledger accounts, and assisting with budget and forecast preparations. You will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Review and process expense reports.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings.
• Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
• Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in [specific industry] is a plus.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
