Job Title: Junior AccountantLocation: AhmedabadDepartment: AccountingReports To: Senior Accountant / Accounting ManagerEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will assist in managing the company\'s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their accounting skills and grow within the organization.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Financial Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with established procedures.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, verify and reconcile transactions, prepare payment runs, and handle customer and vendor inquiries.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate records.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, ensuring they are within budget and properly documented.
• Support Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Data Entry: Accurately input and update financial data into accounting software.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
