Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our team at a petrol pump located on Jetalpur Road in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Additionally, the accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information and collaborating with management to make informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and prepare tax returns as needed
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of employee wages
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies and budgets
• Monitor financial performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to management as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of experience or fresher in accounting, preferably in the retail or petroleum industry
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
