Job Description

: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and overseeing the finalization of accounts. Your knowledge of GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statement), You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing financial insights to the management team. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely filing of GST returns and TDS payments. Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and reports to support decision-making. Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Assist in the finalization of accounts, including preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, and procurement, to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Monitor and analyze budgetary control and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. Support the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and cash flow projections. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Train and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Requirements: CA inter with 4-5 years or MCom/ B com with 8 to 10 years of experience In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, BRS, and other relevant tax and accounting regulations. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.Account Executive (from NBFC) We are a growing Non-Banking Financing Company in Kolkata, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive from any leading NBFC. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, handling GST filing and entries, and ensuring compliance with basic accounting principles and Indian accounting policies in a Nonbanking Financial sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day accounting entries and management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handle GST filing and entries, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and deadlines. Maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and recommendations. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting. Conduct periodic audits of financial activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and Indian accounting policies and Non-banking financial sector Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience at least 2 to 5 years in any NBFC. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles in the Non-Banking Financial sector. Familiarity with Indian accounting policies and regulations. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools TALLY etc Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Job Type: Full-time Salary: 915,000.00 - 940,000.00 per month Benefits:
