The Accounting Executive is a key leader responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities within the organization. This role entails ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to optimize financial performance. The Accounting Executive works closely with senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings and payments.
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and optimize working capital.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is preferred.
• Extensive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
