Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant to manage daily accounting and taxation responsibilities. Preparing Financial Statements, MIS Reports, and Filing Tax returns (TDS, GST, PT, etc.) are a large part of the accountant\xe2\x80\x99s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles and should be able to work comfortably with numbers. Responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
- Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Direct and Indirect Taxes filing.
- Monthly Paying and filling of Professional Tax
- Proven experience as an accountant
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with relevant computer software (Tally ERP 9)
- B.com/M.com
- 1+ years of experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of GST and Income Tax
- Day shift
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Tally Prime: 1 year (Preferred)
