Account Executive

The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for generating sales orders (SO), finalizing commercial agreements, managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the financial management and planning of the company. You will:

• Generate and process sales orders accurately and promptly.
• Ensure that all sales orders comply with company policies and customer agreements.
• Assist in the finalization of commercial terms and conditions with clients.
• Coordinate with the sales and legal teams to ensure that all commercial agreements are documented and signed.
• Create and issue invoices based on finalized sales orders and commercial terms.
• Verify that all invoices are accurate and reflect the agreed-upon terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients for payment.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, or mail to resolve payment issues and disputes.
• Negotiate payment plans with clients as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales orders, invoices, and accounts receivable transactions.
• Record payments received and apply them to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Prepare regular reports on the status of sales orders, accounts receivable, and collection efforts.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to improve the sales order and accounts receivable process.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding sales orders, billing, and payment inquiries.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure timely payments and repeat business.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
• Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, sales order processing, or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP Tally, Zoho).
• Experience in commercial agreement finalization and sales order processing.
• Good knowledge of Excel and MS office
• Graduate (B.Com)
