  • Prepare and finalize financial statements such as Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and auditing principles.
  • Handle year-end closing activities and adjustments.
Bookkeeping and Ledger Maintenance:
  • Maintain accurate general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Post journal entries and ensure proper classification of transactions.
Taxation:
  • Compute and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
  • Assist with tax assessments, audits, and resolving tax-related queries.
Audit Support:
  • Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors to resolve queries.
Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances, including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
Bank and Vendor Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and other accounts periodically.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
MIS Reporting:
  • Generate and present MIS reports such as cash flow statements, expense reports, and budget variance analyses to senior management or clients.
  • Highlight key financial trends or discrepancies for decision-making.
Client Interaction:
  • Liaise with clients for data collection, clarification of queries, and submission of financial reports.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients for smooth operations.
Software Expertise:
  • Work proficiently on accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
  • Familiarity with CA firm-specific tools like Busy or Zoho Books.
Qualifications:
  • B.Com/M.Com, CA Intermediate, or similar qualification.
Key Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication for client interaction and team coordination.
