Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in English, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Science, and Languages (French, Hindi, Tamil) to join our academic content development team. The candidates will have substantial teaching experience at the primary and secondary levels and will be responsible for developing and refining content for textbooks, workbooks, and educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Development:
• Develop, write, and create academic content for textbooks, workbooks, and digital resources for Primary and Secondary levels.
• Ensure content is engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with the latest curriculum and examination patterns.
• Collaborate with illustrators and designers to incorporate relevant visual aids, charts, and diagrams to enhance learning.
• Content Review and Editing:
• Review, proofread, and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to educational standards.
• Ensure that all content aligns with the syllabus requirements of major educational boards (e.g., CBSE, State Boards, ICSE).
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior content writers and freelancers, ensuring consistent quality across subjects.
• Curriculum Updates and Research:
• Stay updated with the latest curriculum changes and teaching methodologies for Social Science, Physical and Biological Sciences, and Language education.
• Research and incorporate new teaching strategies and content ideas to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Collaboration and Mentorship:
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure the timely delivery of content.
• Mentor and train junior writers and editors to develop high-quality educational materials.
• Subject Expertise and Trends:
• Provide expert knowledge in English, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Science, and Languages (French, Hindi, Tamil) and align content with pedagogical best practices.
• Analyze competitive content and ensure that the materials developed are market-leading and innovative.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant subjects (English, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Science, or Languages - French, Hindi, Tamil).
• A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the Primary and Secondary levels.
• Strong command over the subject area with the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in content development or academic publishing is an advantage.

Skills Required:

• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum standards for Primary and Secondary levels.
• Ability to develop engaging, accurate, and pedagogically sound content.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using digital content development tools and educational technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
