JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Academic Counsellor to guide and support students in selecting and pursuing academic and professional courses that align with their interests and career goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counselling, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to helping students achieve their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling
• Provide expert guidance to students and parents regarding available academic and professional courses across various fields.
• Evaluate students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations to suggest the most suitable programs.
• Address concerns and queries related to program requirements, challenges, and career prospects.
Program Guidance
• Explain program structures, curriculum details, and certification or degree requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in academic programs, admission policies, and industry trends.
Follow-Up and Conversion
• Engage with prospective students and parents through consistent follow-ups via calls, emails, and one-on-one sessions.
• Ensure timely collection of enrolment documents and fee payments to confirm admissions.
Target Achievement
• Achieve monthly and quarterly enrolment and revenue targets across all academic programs.
• Develop strategies to increase enrolments and align with organizational goals.
Collaboration
• Coordinate with faculty, admissions, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth counselling and enrolment process.
• Participate in webinars, seminars, and educational events to promote programs and connect with prospective students.
Record Maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, counselling sessions, and enrolment data using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
• Provide regular reports and updates on conversion rates and counselling outcomes to management.
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in any field (Commerce, Arts, Science, etc.) or related area.
Experience:
• Prior experience in telesales, academic counselling, or education sales is an advantage.
Skills:
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and inspire trust over the phone or in person.
• Goal-driven with strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple students and inquiries effectively.

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
