Academic Counselor
Job Description
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Freshers are welcome to apply; experience in educational settings is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic advising and support to students regarding course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies.
• Assist students in setting academic and career goals, offering guidance on how to achieve them.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on study skills, time management, and exam preparation.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify at-risk students and develop intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality.
• Stay updated on university programs, resources, and services available to students.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy and the ability to build rapport with students.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
• Familiarity with academic software and student management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ?15,000.00 per month
Schedule:
• Day shift
