Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern Academic Counsellor to join our team. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, guiding students, and contributing to their academic success. As an intern, you will support the counselling team in providing personalized academic advice, helping students make informed decisions about their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Guidance: Assist in advising students on course selection, academic goals, and career pathways.
• Information Sharing: Provide information about educational programs, admission processes, scholarships, and other academic opportunities.
• Counselling Support: Participate in one-on-one and group counselling sessions, ensuring students understand their options and make informed choices.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, academic plans, and progress reports.
• Event Participation: Support the planning and execution of orientation programs, academic workshops, and career fairs.
• Resource Development: Help prepare educational materials, presentations, and resources for students.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students to improve academic support services and suggest enhancements to the counselling process.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy and the ability to relate to students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of academic and career planning tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database systems is a plus.
