We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to helping students make informed decisions regarding their academic journey. This role involves offering expert guidance to students and assisting them in selecting the right educational programs that align with their interests and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized academic counselling to students, helping them explore and choose the most suitable courses and educational pathways.
• Conduct one-on-one or group sessions to understand students' academic needs, goals, and strengths, and offer tailored recommendations.
• Guide students through the application process, ensuring they are well-prepared for each step.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and their families to foster trust and engagement.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve educational targets and provide the best possible support to students throughout their academic journey.

Qualifications:

• A graduate or post-graduate in any Science stream.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in academic counselling or a related field (freshers with a keen interest in education are also encouraged to apply).

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of computer (MS Office, email, internet research) for managing student records and maintaining communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and create a positive experience for students.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.
• A strong passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed in their academic pursuits.
