Job Title: Academic Counselor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Academic Counsellor on a immediate basis who will provide guidance and support to students in achieving their academic goals, helping them to make informed decisions about their education and career paths.

1. Meet with students to discuss their academic progress, goals, and concerns.

2. Help students choose courses that align with their academic and career goals.

3. Assist students in creating degree plans and ensuring they meet graduation requirements.

4. Provide guidance on career options and help students explore their interests and strengths.

5. Help students resolve academic and personal issues that may impact their academic success.

6. Connect students with campus resources, such as tutoring, counseling, and financial aid.

7. Maintain regular communication with students, faculty, and staff to ensure student success.

8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and advising sessions.

9. Develop and deliver workshops and presentations on academic success strategies, career development, and other topics relevant to student success.

10. Collaborate with faculty members to provide advising and support services to students.

11. Stay up-to-date with academic policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Master's Degree: In counseling, education, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in academic advising or counseling.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Ability to empathize with students and understand their concerns.

6. Familiarity with academic programs, policies, and procedures.

7. Experience in student counselling with education sector is required.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?35,553.06 per month
