Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one or telephonic counseling sessions with students to understand their academic goals, preferences, and aspirations. Provide personalized guidance to students regarding their study abroad options, including academic programs, destinations, and cultural experiences. Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and programs that align with their academic goals and meet the requirements Maintain up-to-date information on academic programs, universities, scholarships, admission requirements and other resources relevant to studying abroad. Inform students about scholarships and financial aid options to help them fund their studies abroad. Collaborate with the operations department to ensure seamless coordination and support for students throughout the study abroad process. Provide continuous support to students during their preparation for departure and throughout their study abroad experience. Stay updated on trends and changes in the field of international education and adapt counseling strategies accordingly by attending training session and other value adding programs. Participate in marketing and promotional activities like expos, fairs etc. to attract new customers to the company's services. Follow up with previously enrolled students and gain reference leads. Create daily, weekly and monthly reports with accurate data and information and share the same with the concerned managers and team lead.

Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills Effective Communication and Customer Service skills Experience in the field of Overseas Education Recruitment Empathy and understanding towards student needs Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field
