Position Title: Logistics Analyst 3


Reporting into: Logistics Associate Manager


Location: Bangalore


About the Position:



The position we are hiring is for Logistics Analyst 3, responsible for developing and supporting business process solutions for Juniper's Global Logistics Support (SO Logistics) with specific focus on Supply Chain Event Risk Assessment, Freight Payments for logistics' services, Reporting, Project Mgmt. and Other Logistics related queries/escalations.




Duties/Responsibilities:


• Manages the Risk Assessment Events, Quarterly Metrics, Supply Chain Risk Event Specific Response Management.


• Auditing of Risk Assessment reports, Daily Reports related to Logistics.


• Performs QC of the Global Logistics e-mail support.


• Providing the resolution to Logistics related issues by working with cross functional teams, the service providers, vendors etc. act as an SME of the process.


• Understands internal business operations to develop solutions to drive decision making.


• Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, identifies gaps, reconciles conflicts, and decomposes high-level information.


• Manages project timelines and priorities and drives team and self to meet established deliverables.


• Performs testing (UAT) for key projects and on-going deliverables including identification and documentation of use cases, test scenarios and test scripts.


• Identify process gaps and suggest possible solutions.




Skills/Qualifications


• Operational experience from a functional perspective in Supply Chain & Logistics.


• Contributes to the development of innovative ideas and ability to apply best practice solutions.


• Works under consultative direction and pursues course of action to achieve desired results. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.


• Must have strong analytical skills to identify and interpret potential business process issues and problems. Strong problem-solving skills.


• Exhibit ownership of tasks and see them to closure. Self-starter, able to learn quickly and to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to make quick, well-informed decisions to avoid project delays.


• Excellent attention to detail yet ability to understand the big picture.


• Advanced Excel, Good Communication and English Language skills (Both verbal and written) is a must.


• Six Sigma/project management related skills is an added advantage.


• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Excellent presentation skills.


• Data visualization skills, Strong analytical and judgment skills.




Education/Experience


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Business, Logistics & Supply Chain, or related field preferred) or an MBA.


• A minimum of 7 to 8 years' experience (Six years of relevant experience).


• Proficient using MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).


• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oscar etc. is an added advantage).


• Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management field preferable.
