3D Designer job description:

The 3D Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual

effects for various engineering projects. This role requires a combination of artistic vision and

technical expertise to produce engaging and realistic 3d models & animations.

3D Designer duties and responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, textures, and animations based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with other designers, artists, and developers to ensure a cohesive visual style.
• Create and maintain 3D assets and libraries.
• Utilize software tool (Blender) to create and refine models and animations.
• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and project deadlines.
• Optimize 3D models and assets for performance and compatibility across different platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to 3D design and animation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to incorporate new techniques and tools.

3D Designer requirements

Excellent understanding and knowledge of 3D design

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success

Team player

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Strong expertise in 3d modelling & Animation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a 3D Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation skills.

Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., Blender).

Knowledge of texturing, shading, and lighting techniques.

Understanding of animation principles and rigging.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of mechanical engineering / product design will be an added advantage.
