As a software engineer, you will design, develop Software for Qualcomm\xe2\x80\x99s mobile chipsets which are based on cutting edge technology.Qualcomm is looking for energetic, creative and self-driven engineer to work in \xe2\x9e\xa2 Multimedia Technologies such as Audio and Video codecs, Image Processing, \xe2\x9e\xa2 Wireless Modem Technologies, such as 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Self-Organizing Networks. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Platform Level SW, such as, Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages. \xe2\x9e\xa2 IOT Technologies, for Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality. Campus Grads will be working on following areas: \xe2\x80\xa2 Development of real-time embedded software and device drivers \xe2\x80\xa2 Mobile SW development for Windows Mobile, Android or Linux \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of OS concepts, Data structures, etc \xe2\x80\xa2 C/C++ and object oriented design \xe2\x80\xa2 Wireless network standards such as CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE \xe2\x80\xa2 Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Protocols such TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Multimedia technologies including Audio, Video, Imaging \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to collaborate and work in teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good verbal and written communication skill Opportunities include: \xe2\x80\xa2 SW development for Android, Window Mobile based Embedded Platforms \xe2\x80\xa2 Multimedia software stack, firmware and driver Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Wireless Modem and connectivity Software and Firmware Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Communication protocol stack Software Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Kernel, BSP and Device Driver Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Application SW and UI development. \xe2\x80\xa2 SW Architecture for embedded devices based on Android, Windows. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and development based on Object oriented programming.Education: Masters, Bachelors: Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, ECE,Minimum Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Education: Masters, Bachelors: Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, ECEApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
