About the role:
We seek highly dedicated, motivated, and passionate accountants who can use the right tools to find the best solutions to problems. As part of our finance team, you will play an important role in the efficient, timely, and accurate processing of payroll. You will also be responsible for handling employee inquiries and working with other team members to ensure payroll is processed in compliance with statutory regulations, as well as act as the payroll point of contact in the absence of the manager.
You will be working alongside a group of people who are all focused on promoting the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the department through exceptional payroll, accounting, income processing, and accounts payable services.
Key responsibilities:
• Payable Management: Administering receipt of invoices & supporting documents; tracking, validating, and booking of invoices received from vendors and employees.
• Preparing ledger and supporting with data during audit
• Accounting Management: Timeliness and accuracy in accounting the invoices of employee and vendor
• Accruals and schedules for monthly book closure
• Payment management of employee and vendor on timely basis in order reduce the aging of vendor and employee invoices
• Processing the invoices received from vendors, dealers and employees and maintaining proper record to track status of invoices from date of receipt
• Ensuring that employee expense & travel claims are as per company policies accurate, adequately supported, and approved for payment by head of user department
• Bank Statements reconciliation and Cash position report on daily basis.
• Assist in the payroll processing workflow and tasks necessary to accomplish accurate and timely payment to all employees in India
• Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and department/division transfers
• Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately while maintaining high level of confidentiality
• Maintain accurate and acceptable electronic files on each employee in accordance with company policy and procedure
• Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, reporting to management as needed
• Audit and ensure proper onboarding of new employees
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures
• Assist senior members of the accounting staff to prepare budgets
• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, procedures and state and federal regulations
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
• Assist in financial audits and general ledger analysis
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned or as needed
You must have:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related area
• 5 to 10 years of experience in processing payroll
• Experience with General Ledger (GL) and Journal entries
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel
• Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Must have strong technical skills, including proficiency with automated payroll processing services
• Analytical mind with strong conceptional and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Critical thinker with high proficiency in math
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
It will be very good if you have experience in:
• Global payroll experience
• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience with expense software Concur is a plus
• Exposure in Bank Reconciliation
Physical requirements:
• INVIDI is a conscious, clean, well-organized, and supportive office.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are normal.
