About Moneylife Foundation (http://foundation.moneylife.in/ ) Moneylife Foundation was set up in February 2010 to give a voice to savers and consumers of financial products and services. Over the years, it has emerged as one of the fastest growing not-for-profit organisations in this space. Membership is free — all you need to do is to fill up the feedback forms available with you. Moneylife Foundation has over 63,000 members nationwide. Moneylife Foundation has conducted over 325 workshops, with 225 speakers and over 14.10 lakh beneficiaries, including attendees and YouTube views as on 12 May 2017. The Foundation also received the prestigious MR Pai Memorial award for its work in 2014. Moneylife Foundation is fiercely independent and non-partisan — our financial literacy and advocacy effort does not hawk any product or services. Apart from the, basic ‘Safe & Smart’ flagship seminar, Moneylife Foundation has talks on a wide range of issues that affect the ordinary savers. The effort is to build a large enough base to give us a voice for advocacy and intervention in appropriate policy making on issues that affect savers. This will reduce the need for grievance redress and should be of great help to the regulator, financial companies, intermediaries and savers. The challenge is to get them to see it that way. Moneylife Foundation runs helplines- they include a Legal Resource Centre, a Tax Helpline, and a Credit Helpline for those in financial distress. The Foundation also conducts Daily Guidance Sessions every evening at the Moneylife Knowledge Centre to offer free counselling to people on a wide range of issues. All events are recorded and uploaded on Moneylife Foundation’s website under Events, in case you want to check them out. (http://foundation.moneylife.in/)
