Presently industries India are dependent on city, municipal and sometimes captive ground water source, thereby reducing the amount of water available for domestic use. A solution to this problem need to up gradation of sewage/Industrial waste water to meet the effluent discharge limits of Pollution Control Board. THE AREAS OF BUSINESS POTENTIAL ARE : 1. Tertiary treatment of sewage water for various municipal authorizes and industries that are proposing to utilize municipal sewage water. This water is to be treated with biological process and ungraded to tolerance limits of Pollution Control Board Standards. 2. Treatment of Industrial effluent or waste water : Various refineries, Steel Plants, factories, tanneries, textile industries, thermal power stations, chemical factories need their waste water to be upgraded to discharge standards set by Pollution Control Board. 3. Desalination of sea water : Our experience shows that while the reverse Osmosis process holds enormous potential to meet the needs of the city drinking water/industrial water supply, the cost is quite high. However, we are working on a process which would deliver water at much reduced unit prices. This technology will be offered to Indian Industries after suitable development. 4. Undertaking of impact assessment/environmental studies for industries. We will be able to assist Indian industries in the critical areas of water.
