The need for a stable elderly-care system in India has motivated us to organize the 2nd International Conference on Geriatrics and Gerontology in 2013 at Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, India. The 3rd International Conference on Geriatrics and Gerontology 2014 is scheduled in the month of 17-19th November 2014 at Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, India. The conference was successful in associating with The British Geriatric Society & The Indian Geriatric Society and bringing them onto one platform to discuss various issues related to aging. The suggestions were also recorded and a detailed report was submitted to the planning commission and the health ministry for the amendment of the same.Biogenesis Euro Indian Health Cluster was also successful in bringing two nations the UK and India into a collaborative partnership through the “Indo British Geriatric Council “ that would enable Knowledge transfer and technology transfer among both the countries in the field of Geriatrics to provide the best health care services to the elderly in both the nations.
