(FISPL) and anchored by Axon Anaesthesia Associates (Axon), and technologically supported by GE Healthcare. FISPL established its operations in 2005 to support various businesses that are with geographical spread and needs technological solutions for operational excellence and tight financial controls. Axon Anaesthesia Associates started its operations in 2001 with a group of anaesthesia experts from UK to provide high-end anaesthesia and intensive care services to patients inside the hospital. The TeleICU concept; was technically developed and supported by GE Healthcare, an established player in the field of Medical equipment. The solution is agnostic to monitoring equipment brands. It allows collection of monitor data, voice, and video (VVID). The data can be moved real-time to a command center for monitoring & advice. Axis Tele medics provides remote monitoring services to the hospitals having an ICU in and around the country. The company is unique that it has developed networking technology to monitor patients economically at any station, and is agnostic to monitors and hospitals. The need was identified, because the country is bereft of highly skilled and experienced intensivists and anesthetists.
